If you are a new cadet, welcome. You have found the right place.   This page will give you the information you need to get started.

THE CADET UNIFORM PROGRAM

When you join the Civil Air Patrol, you get most of your blues uniform for free. You will get the shirt, pants/skirt, belt, buckle, and hat for the blues uniform. You can get more information about the uniform program, including male and female sizing charts, by clicking here. In order for you to receive your uniform, you will need to log onto E-Services. Once you are logged in, click on the "Cadet Uniform" button in the column on the left and follow the directions from there.

The BDU (i.e. camouflage) uniform, shoes for the blues uniform, and other accessories are not a part of the Cadet Uniform Program. You can find the BDU uniform on base, at thrift stores, and through Vanguard or The Hock Shop. Vanguard and The Hock Shop are also the only place to get CAP specific uniform parts. The uniform parts you will need to complete both the Blues and BDU uniform are listed below. Click on the underlined items for a direct link to a picture and/or a store that carries that item.

Blues:

BDU's

Most of these items can be found elsewhere (except for the U.S. Civil Air Patrol tape, Nametape, and Alaska Wing Patch). The links provided give pictures for examples if you plan to look elsewhere. Please check sizes on items like the   hat,   shirt, trousers, and boots. Please do not sew any of the patches on until you know exactly where they are supposed to go.
